CAPRICORN and AQUARIUS

It is difficult to treat these signs separately from each other as they are closely related in what they are good at. This may be because they are both ruled by the planet Saturn and Saturn is associated with discipline and hard work. It may also be why the sports in which Capricorn and Aquarius excel are the ones that I consider the most physically demanding.

An example is boxing as shown below.

All Boxing Competitions

As seen from this chart, Capricorn medallists are significantly better at about 1 in 175 probability. And below is another physically demanding discipline showing Aquarius domination. (Probability at about 1 in 1,000)

All Men’s Track Cycling Competitions

Two other related sports are Badminton and Volleyball. Capricornians are the Badminton experts as shown below. (Probability about 1 in 100).

All Badminton Competitions

Aquarians are the Volleyball champions. (Probability almost 1 in 1,000)

All Volleyball Competitions

Finally, here is a chart showing competitions not yet investigated in which Capricorn and Aquarius are significantly better than expected. Capricorn is significant at over the 1 in 100 level and Aquarius at near to 1 in 50. No other sign is significant.

The competitions included in this chart are:

  • High Jump
  • Javelin

Curiosity Corner

1.  There are an amazing number of Capricornian boxers born in January and who became household names after winning their Gold medals.

The list includes:

  • Cassius Clay – now known as Muhammad Ali
  • George Foreman
  • Joe Frazier
  • Floyd Patterson

2.   Capricorn athletes born between December 1925 and January 1942 inclusive were awarded proportionately many more medals than their counterparts in other Zodiac signs. They gained 301 medals instead of the 234 expected by chance. The probability of this happening is greater than 100,000 to 1.

Aquarian athletes born between 1962 and 1972 inclusive were also awarded proportionately many more medals than their counterparts in other Zodiac signs. They gained 447 medals instead of the 355 expected by chance. The probability of this happening is greater than 2,000,000 to 1.
